What is Business Modelling at EY?

Evaluating a potential transaction, market opportunity or strategic decision involves a lot of complex factors. We bring them all together in quantitative business models that help our clients understand the implications and act accordingly.

Eligibility criteria

If you have a numerate or Maths degree, or in a subject like Financial Economics, Financial Risk Management, Accounting, Finance Investment, Business Studies, Economics or similar by the time the programme starts, this is for you.

Roles & responsibilities

• Communicating with colleagues and clients across global locations

After an EY induction, you’ll join your team in Business Modelling. Working with senior-level people means you’re given responsibility and the chance to pick up lots of knowledge, quickly. As soon as you’re ready, you’ll be working on client projects on a range of model build and review assignments covering a variety of issues and sectors. You’ll become an expert at using tools like Excel, Alteryx and Spotfire and successfully advise clients on how to get the results they want.

You can also expect lots of training and development opportunities, including a four-day modelling boot camp.. When the programme finishes, you could be promoted to an Executive and will be a part of a global network of EY business modelling professionals, where opportunities for overseas secondments often come up.
