We currently have an opportunity for a Resourcer to join the Graduate IT skills development recruitment team. Our IT skills development programme – Novus, begins with up to 16 weeks of training and is designed to give our graduates the skills, professional certifications and experience to work in roles such as IT Business Analyst, Project Manager, Software Developer and Software Test Analyst. Once they have completed their training, they have the opportunity to work in assignments either internally within Capita businesses or on Capita client sites for up to 2 years.

The role of the Resourcer will be to effectively source candidates for our Novus programme and assist in the whole recruitment process from CV screening to offer. You will be responsible for CV sourcing, CV screening and first round interviews as well as organising and assisting in running assessment centres, providing feedback to applicants throughout the hiring process.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • You will create and manage a pipeline of future candidates and network with existing candidates for referrals
  • In addition, you will build a network of University career service contacts, seeking opportunities for us to host recruitment events that promote our programme as well as attending careers fairs
  • This role will require some travel from time to time, and occasional nights away from home for which expenses will be covered
