The GECAS Corporate Communications intern will work closely with the Communications Manager. The intern will support the Communications Manager with internal communications, digital communications, branding, internal events etc. 


Essential Responsibilities
 

Internal Communications: 

  • Co-ordinate employee communications through a range of channels to ensure ease of access, clarity and consistency.
  • Generate content for internal publications
  • Help co-ordinate and manage all logistical aspects of numerous internal events
  • Collaborate with internal staff

Digital Communications: 

  • Produce and publish content on the organisation's social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn) and blog.
  • Co-ordinate content for campaign webpages on corporate website
  • Generate audio and video content for all online channels.

Branding: 

  • Act as a brand guardian across all communications collateral.
  • Provide recommendations and support to staff and suppliers around branding queries, ensuring consistency across all forms of communications.


Qualifications/Requirements

  • Must be a 3rd or 4th year undergraduate or first year post-graduate of a business, marketing degree
  • Working knowledge of social media and online tools/digital platforms
  • Digital skills - advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, email and the web; strong familiarity with IT, especially digital and video as means of communications - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional English writing and editing skills.
  • Proactive, self-starter with the commitment and self-motivation.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise against tight deadlines.
  • Team player with ability to work with diverse range of internal & external stakeholders.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/designing/video editing
  • Knowledge of Contact Management Systems
